Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has signed a new three-year contract. The Scottish Premiership leaders opened talks with Gordon after rejecting several offers from Chelsea during the January transfer window. His form in recent seasons drew interest from Chelsea in January as they looked to replace Asmir Begovic as their back-up goalkeeper. Two years later he joined the Glasgow club from Sunderland, winning two league and two Scottish Cups in the meanwhile. Gordon has 45 Scottish caps, and was named on the SPL 2014/15 team of the year.

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon, linked with Chelsea during the January transfer window, has signed a new three-year contract. Craig Gordon has been a key player for Brendan Rodgers this season. Gordon's Celtic career looked in doubt in August when manager Brendan Rodgers signed his former Swansea goalkeeper, Dorus de Vries, from Nottingham Forest. The Scottish Premiership leaders opened talks with Gordon after rejecting offers from Chelsea. De Vries went into the team for five matches but Gordon won his place back and has kept it ever since.
