Antonio Conte demands more signings at Chelsea stat : The Telegraph

Antonio Conte is targeting a huge spending spree at Chelsea this summer as he bids to rebuild his title-winning squad. Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Willy Caballero were signed before Morata's record move, taking the summer spending towards the £130 million mark. Conte has already broken the club's transfer record with the £58 million signing of Alvaro Morata but has sent out a clear message during Chelsea's tour of the Far East that more players are required. Since then, Chelsea have signed centre-back Antonio Rudiger, holding midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, per BBC Sport. Cross also noted how Conte received enough assurances to finally move his family to London, but the depth in Chelsea's ranks still worried the Italian.

Antonio Conte Says He Considered Quitting Chelsea Before Signing New Contract
Antonio Conte has indicated that he considered leaving Chelsea despite winning the Premier League last season, saying his first year in England was "very tough" on a personal level. Antonio Conte suggested he had been concerned by Chelsea's lack of transfer activity earlier in the summer. Former Juventus boss Conte took charge at Stamford Bridge after overseeing Italy's Euro 2016 campaign, but his wife and nine-year-old daughter did not join him in England. "For sure, I enjoyed the season in England and with Chelsea, but I must be honest, it was very tough for me and for my family. It's very important that the club understand your idea and the club is ready also to work together, to try together, and to have this solid foundation.
