Daily Star : declared in Chelsea Transfer News: Antonio Candreva enquiry made, Inter Milan refused to sell in Jan

Antonio Conte was keen to bring Candreva to the Premier League in January, but Inter refused to let him leave the San Siro. Reports suggest the Chelsea boss hasn't been deterred and he's apparently ready to go back in for the 30-year-old this summer. He could do little to stop them coming seventh and therefore missing out on European qualification for next season though. The Italy international joined the Serie A giants from domestic rivals Lazio in an £18.7m deal last August.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte plans summer swoop for Inter Milan's Antonio Candreva
Chelsea have identified Inter Milan star winger Antonio Candreva as a transfer target this summer. Conte remains confident of completing the transfer of the 30-year-old in the summer transfer window. The Inter winger is open to the idea of swapping the Serie A outfit for the Premier League winners. He has now set his sights on Italian international Candreva and is aware of the player's abilities as Conte coached him when he was with the national team. The situation has forced the former Juventus and Italy manager to look elsewhere in the transfer window.
