Sky sources understand the 18-year-old centre-back has a £36m (€40m) release clause in his contract.

Sarr, 18, made his Nice debut in the first game of last season. And, according to Sky Sports, his performances didn't go unnoticed at Stamford Bridge. He scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Stade Rennais. Nice rewarded Sarr with his first professional contract in November. The centre-back went on to make 32 appearances across all competitions for the French outfit, who finished third in Ligue 1.
